As recorded by New York Voices (“Sing! Sing! Sing!” – 2001, Concord Records), this arrangement is one of the consummate NYV 4-way close arrangements. By NYV standards, this one is not too difficult but will still give your ensemble a workout. The chord changes are reasonably simple, so it’s a good chart for vocal improv solos. This version uses rhythm section accompaniment only and does not include the horn parts that were used on the NYV recording. Therefore, the horn intro and horn interlude has been edited out of the arrangement.
